2004 News > Flynn & Friends develops new brand identities for four area businesses
August 30, 2004
Flynn & Friends, Inc., an advertising agency located in the Allentown district of Buffalo, recently developed new brand identities, including logos, tag lines, and collateral materials, for four Western New York businesses: Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation (NTCC); Literacy New York; Amherst Alarm; and Audax Business Solutions (formerly Taylor Staffing Services).
Selected by NTCC to help market Niagara County as a tourism and convention destination, Flynn & Friends designed the corporation's new logo and developed its tag line: Niagara USA, New York's Natural Wonderland. NTCC also retained the agency to coordinate and design its 2004-2005 Visitors Guide.
Flynn & Friends also designed a new logo for Literacy New York, a non-profit organization that helps adults to gain literacy skills, and redesigned an existing logo for Amherst Alarm, a locally owned and operated alarm company. Furthermore, the agency developed a tag line for Amherst Alarm "Watching out for Western New York since 1984," to reinforce its new logo.
In addition, after Taylor Staffing Services was purchased by a new owner, Flynn & Friends developed a name for the company that better reflected its shift from a general temporary staffing agency to a company specializing in payroll and human resources management: Audax Business Solutions. The word audax means "bold" in Latin. The new name was incorporated into a logo and collateral materials, which Flynn & Friends designed as well.
Flynn & Friends is a full-service advertising agency with offices at 437 Franklin Street in Buffalo. It was established in 1986 and employs eight.
