RPCI Alliance Names Ride for Roswell Chairs

The Roswell Park Alliance Community Advisory Board has named Mitch Flynn and Christopher Wilkins, Esq., co-chairs of the Eighth Annual Ride For Roswell, taking place on June 28 at the University at Buffalo's Baird Point.

Flynn helped to initiate the event and is a past co-chair (1996 and 1997), adding additional creative support from his ad agency Flynn & Friends. Wilkins co-chaired the event in 2002, and is an attorney and partner with Walsh & Wilkins in Buffalo. Committee chairpersons named for 2003 include: Maggie Plesh, Ann Arnold, Lisa Taravella (prizes); Sally Russell (logistics); Maryann Rodgers (volunteers); Erin Wilkins, Peter O'Keefe (teams); Georgette Pelletterie (rest stops) and Anne Gioia (adopt-a-corner).

The Roswell Park Alliance Community Advisory Board is the volunteer arm of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, founded in 1991. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization formed to receive and administer funds to support scientific and clinical research, state-of-the-art medical care, and patient-related activities at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI).
